Why does it not surprise me that Texas right-wingers are latent mass murderers?
Unnamed staffer and intern are the same beard.
Count me in!!
We could build a wall and get Texas to pay for it, tRump-style.
It should be YUUUGE however.
âSpecial Assistant Luke Bullockâ
Is this news or a Simpsonâs episode?
â[Miller] has not made any bones about where he stands on the issue of radical Islamic terrorismâ
There, the TX State Agricultural Commissioner has weighed in on a strategic international arms treaty and itâs purported relationship to religious extremist terrorism. Perhaps he can express his views on the Fedâs Monetary Policy next?
I wonder if he realizes that historically Iranians and Arabs have been more at odds than Texans and Oklahomans? Oops, did I just equate him to an Iranian? Sorry Iran!
I could tell early on that we were kindred spirits, Cham. I was having a debate, that devolved into a childish argument, with my childhood friends, who are all now, white, conservative, racist menâŚvery covert on the racism part, and light on it as well, but itâs there. Anyway, during the argument, I tried to get them to tell me one good thing conservatives have contributed to the world in the last 55-60 years. They did that thing where they couldnât answer, but instead, tried to put me on the defensive with âwhat have liberals done?â So, I mentioned the ACA, saying that whether you like the law or donât, no one can deny it was put forth to HELP people! Same with food stamps and welfare. Then I mentioned Gay rights, Civil rights, and currently, this movement to make college free, as well. The funny thing is, they all said that whether or those things are good is subjective! They called it SUBJECTIVE!! So, they couldnât answer my question, and couldnât belittle my answers to their questions because if they did, they would prove my point, so they resorted to calling civil rights being a good thing âsubjective!â See? White conservative men have one settingâŚasshole.
Walp, the ignorant shitheel has at least managed to invent a level of nonpology* even more awful than the level one nonpology: we are not sorry that an intern posted an offensive message that we basically agree with, but weâve taken it down because we recognize itâs âcontroversial.â" Itâs a Level 0 Nonpology!
The classic nonpology forms, in order of reprehensibility:
Level One Nonpology: âWeâre sorry if anyone was offended.â
Level Two Nonpology: âWe apologize to those who were offended.â
Level Three Nonpology âWe are very sorry our unsupervised unpaid intern or low-level employee said or did that offensive thing without our knowledge or direction, and we have fired him/her.â
Glad I have a Prius and I need to invest in dirty tar sand oil. Those Middle Eastern cheap oil reserves will be radioactive for the next 25,000 years.
i canât imagine why Iran would want nukes when the elected officials of the US are basically screaming âDeath to Iranâ.
Funny: he doesnât look at all like a bigot.
And have him sterilized too.
Texas.
And donât forget SS, Medicare, the VA that are objectively good â certainly in any utilitarian sense of the word âgoodâ and certainly in any Christian sense of the word.
Those programs have prevented or ameliorated untold suffering and pain for millions. Nothing subjective about that.
I gave up on trying to have a rational discussion with these âconservativesâ. They literally THINK differently than you or I.
Japan has been at peace with the US since August 9, 1945 â Itâs time we made peace with Texas.
Hows 'bout we makes peace with Tejas?
Number of years ago the late Kenneth Galbraith lamented the Orwellian reduction of something as horrible as the use of nuclear weapons into the slang word ânukeâ.
He talked of being in meetings with generals when they would say things like, âWell, if we nuke 'emâŚâ
Incinerating thousands or even millions of persons is trivial matter of ânukingâ.
Yes, why Orwell is still important.
Meme on the internet now means any picture with words photo shopped into it, that goes viral. Donât ask me why or how, but thatâs what all the cool kids call it these days.
May be a side effect of the Texas Board of MisEducation.
