Of course, but the degree to which that it has become a point of pride among certain people has me shaking my head. I have said before that Trump is merely a symptom of a greater problem in the United States, not the cause. One individual can come and go. A movement is enduring. I fear that we have crossed a point of no return in American politics. The attack on our democratic institutions by an enemy from within will not subside.

So after all that has happened this campaign season, all the attacks on women, the horrible name calling, Trump, surrogates, men of many stripes who support him, let’s see at the end of the day percentage of women turn up at the poll and say “enough.” I for one am hoping for a moment when finally all women, left or right, conservative or liberal, decide that it is more important to take power and beat these troglodytes over the head than to be distracted by “family values” bs. Or your millennials who don’t think Hillary is “radical enough.”

But I am not holding my breath.

Trump up by one point in Texas in that poll? Fun if it were true. I guess he doesn’t see the irony there. I can tell you there are hundreds of thousands of Texans just like him who glorify the “wild west” and some in power who officially do all they can to commemorate and celebrate the “old days”.

I can tell you that there are far more Texans who don’t feel that way.

This state is not wall to wall white anymore - you should visit Houston these days. The immigrant neighborhoods have all but taken over the city.

Parts of Dallas are totally populated by Muslim Americans and Asian Americans and people from the Caribbean and from South America.

There are some dinosaurs here but by god, this place is not totally populated with these mental midgets and Trump is within one point of losing this state to Hillary.
