I actually think that a substantial number of Texans are less crazy than the rest of them would have us believe. I don’t think the sane ones want to carry in Walmart. However, carried to its logical conclusion, either the non-loony Texans don’t vote, or I’m wrong and the majority are batshit crazy.
Stupid and crazy and very, very dangerous. Seriously, we need to kick thTexas out of the United States. I wonder what Mexico would want to take it back.
I can vouch that there are actual smart people in Texas. I’ve met both of them.

The voters who make it to the primaries get to pick the candidates for the general election. Ergo Cruz, Gohmert, Abbot, etc. Throw in voter suppression and misinformed people who think conservatives have to vote R and bingo; a bunch of legislators who can barely retain saliva.
Because with open carry then the good biker gang with a gun would have been victorious!

Police Departments in Texas must be fuming and going NUTS to think even more crazy criminals in their state are going to have even more guns! Police will be the only group who can keep this from going forward. If they don’t?..Well that will be tough when they get killed in greater numbers, I guess.
I’m wondering what took them so long. When you confront a shoot out in public involving 192 armed gang members, “more access to guns” is such an obvious response it should have been passed and signed already.
