What people in Texas need to do is to demand that police ask every person they stop what his/her immigration status is, and then to organize everyone–white, Christians as well as Hispanics, Latinos, Asians and others who look “furrin” to refuse to answer. As is the right of every citizen–and non-citizen–when questioned by the police.
