Discussion: Texas Ag Commissioner On Pushing Fake News: 'I Report, You Decide’ (AUDIO)

“It’s like Fox News: I report, you decide if it’s true or not.”

I have never seen a more accurate description of Fox News. Except it’s a pretty safe bet every story is just made up.

Rules to Live By_

  1. Anybody or any source who takes the position that “you decide” whether to believe what he says is presumptively “Not Credible”. No one should ever rely on anything said by such a person.
  2. If a news media or blog source ever reports on the words of such a person without including a caution that the person is not credible, is likewise not a credible, much less a responsible, news provider.

It’s a new world.

Or put another way: “I deceive, you suckers fall for it.”

“I’m not a news organization,” Miller told reporter Nathan Bernier. “Y’all are holding me to the same standards as you would a news organization, and it’s just Facebook.”

I hate everyone.

Once a second person walks into any room things pretty much go downhill from there. That’s my experience.

And it’s not for his jazz singing.

…and then, just a little bit of truth popped out.

He said much of what he posted on Facebook was “satire, or comedy” and that his Facebook page wasn’t a reliable source for “factual news.”

“I shouldn’t be held to that standard,” he said. “It’s like Fox News: I report, you decide if it’s true or not.”

Bring it on.
Time to put up a website that details the story that the TX AG operates a cross border child sex trafficking scheme. Truth no longer matters so why let just one side play. Chances are, the way conservatives are, 80% of the accusations will wind up being true anyway.

Well at least he is not out in sheets night riding and lynching the niggaruz and jahwez after dark.OMG

Two of his statements are perfectly correct:

  1. His FB page is in no way a reliable source for “factual news”
  2. “It’s just like Fox News.”

You reported. We’ll decide.

(Thank you. I was going to post something similar but you beat me to it.)

Sid Miller: All hat and no horse. Anybody ever seen this joker without the Stetson? Does he have any head above his ears?

Inquiring minds, and all that.

You know, I read in the bible that the devil is the father of all lies. I am by no means holy or even close to it. These republicans call themselves the “moral party” as if they are all so damned holy but they rely on lies and nothing else.
Not facts not Ideas not even the bible, just in your face lies. The donald is the worse of all liars. Why in the hell can’t the media focus on that fact?

He’s right! about Fox. I’m sorry, but I can’t use the word that’s the plural of new when I talk, write, etc. about Fox.
