Cruz is a Piece of Work, but Rubio has some things in his past which should not be brought to light (at least that would be the opinion of Rubio).

Young Evangelical Christians are pretty sincere about their beliefs. I doubt the idea of abandoning thousands of desperate families appeals to them at all. I suspect Ted Cruz wants to make them vomit as much as progressives.
