Discussion: Ted Cruz: ‘Today Is Some Of The Darkest 24 Hours In Our Nation’s History’

I’d prefer him to get worked up, have an aneurysm, and be known as the “late senator…”

is not part of any vocabulary when we are describing Hannity, so he is right just this one time.

Just a bit over the top … even for this drama queen.

Well, at least worse than the 24 hours a certain Cuban-Canadian family emigrated to the US.

You should never have to defend your comparisons to Hitler or any other evil from our histories. Godwin was wrong to shush the conversation about Hitler’s Germany, Nazi’s and the horror of the Holocaust.

How often do we think about the cost and mistake of buying that pair of purple shoes stuck way back in our closet? How easy it is to get all wound up in the today and even forget they are there or our mistake.

That is what is happening and will continue to happen if we don’t face that fact that many are resurrecting the evils while we are being chastised for shining a light on that evil. We need to talk about, examine it and most of remember it.

We are on the verge of repeating some horrible histories because of ignorance and the intentional cultivation of that ignorance.

Get off the cross, Ted. We need the wood and nails for the floats in tonight’s Houston Pride parade.

Of course, Ted might go in a different direction to fire up the sheeple… “Over? Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?”

First true thing Hannity has said.

"Hannity? eloquent? "

And in the same sentence too.

Cruz is something of a drama queen.

I assume Ted will now head to the Capitol to read Goodnight Moon from the Senate floor. His world is in danger of losing both a red balloon and an old lady whispering “hush.”

He’s a drama lady in waiting. Queens are regal.

As a former Senator, he’ll join Scott Brown on Fox News as an “expert”.

What I find interesting is that none of the major Texas newspapers are giving any prominence to Cruz’s ramblings. He seems to rank alongside the drunk uncle who goes off at any family party.

“Forget it, he’s rolling…”

Funny, the Right didn’t seem to have a problem with Justice Kennedy when he ruled in the majority on Bush vs. Gore and Citizens United.

As usual, Cruz has it totally wrong. How could he forget that one of the darkest days in our nation’s history was when Ted Cruz strutted onto the national stage?

Son of a Cuban Communist guerrilla fighter, born in a foreign land, pontificating on American Values. I’ll take the fictitious muslim born in Kenya, thank you very much.
