He has won exactly one single election, for the seat vacated by Kay Bailey Hutchinson.
It was a special election, in which the turnout was a dismal 600,000 or so.
He’s never really won a contested statewide election.
Beto O’Rourke represents a serious threat to Cruz’ Senate career, which has been marked by his unflinching stupidity and his mealy-mouthed whining.

How will they ever get their message out with only Fox News, Sinclair media, the WSJ, NY Post, almost all of talk radio, the NRA network and billions of dollars in right wing Super-PACs…oh, and millions of Russian bots. Maybe Cruz would be better served asking about that…an actual threat to our democracy.

Um, why would Facebook, or any private corporation for that matter, have any obligation to protect the free-speech of customers? If you don’t like it…what is it conservative’s are always saying? …Oh yes, you get get out of my country. That sounds like something they could agree with.

Seems to me that Ted is putting truth (his version) that FaceBook cannot be maintained successfully despite all the technical posturings of its CEO.
So I guess we have to shutdown Face Book as a danger to the people and the country. Fine with me. Along with banning AR-15s.

Damn. Everybody keeps talking about the Catholic pages and whoever the Gems and Fabric bunch are, and nobody is saying anything about there existing a Chick-Fil-A appreciation day page. I can’t imagine what a treat that must offer. This isn’t a question, I don’t really care to know, it just struck me funny that I’m apparently the only one who saw that and said, “What?!”

Surely good republicans (I know oxymoron) revere the right of private businesses (after all they’re people my friends) to express their religious and or political sentiments without interference from the big bad government. Look at fox so called news or SINclair mediocre - no problems with any of that. Certainly the esteemed senator does not want to be thought of as a hypocrite (even though he surely is one).
