Didn’t Joe lose his last Democratic primary and get elected as an independent? I think Former Sen. Joe Lieberman (“I-Sanctimonious”) is a more accurate description.

I pray that the White House makes it known that even if they were somehow going to consider Lieberman for Sec of Defense, and I assume they weren’t, the fact that Cruz is pushing for it makes it a non-starter. I want them to go out of their way to say that.

In a sane universe that doesn’t exist, where the average American doesn’t read a newspaper with Sasquatch on the cover, where John McCain would be disqualified from anything, based on choosing Sarah Palin to be the next President, Ted Cruz should be laughed at heartily, and be excused from the adult table. This won’t happen though.
