I know your post is meant in jest…and it IS funny. But I want to point out that A)Cliven Bundy has still not paid 1 single penny on the taxes he owes, and has continued going on as if nothing had happened and B) the pizza makers were never being forced to cater gay marriages, and have received about half a million dollars for simply saying they wouldn’t cater gay marriages.
So even in snarkville, the government is doing a really bad job of persecuting people.

It’s clear that Cruz only has a VERY superficial knowledge of the Constitution. In fact, I’d say it’s only limited to the First and Second Amendment. Of course, he’d be the first to say that we should destroy the wall separating church and state, all in the name of “defending the Constitution”. People like him are EXTREMELY dangerous, as they only think the parts that THEY like are relevant. Just like the Bible.

It’s the age-old paradox of “patriots” worshipping “ARE TROOPS”, while simultaneously hoarding an arsenal of sporterized AR-15s out of a fantasized delusion that they’d one day have to go up against them. It makes about as much sense as everything else they stand for.
