Discussion: Tea Party Group FreedomWorks Wants Raúl Labrador To Be The Next Majority Leader

Discussion for article #223897

So they think they need to show a Hispanic face in their ‘leadership’? Does that mean they want to go forward with immigration reform?

The Tea Party, willing to help any Latino.

As long as that Latino believes Hispanics shouldn’t vote, corporations shouldn’t pay taxes, and there should be unlimited religion in politics (as long as that religion is a gay-hating, a-priest-owns-your-vagina form of Christianity). Or as the Tea Party calls them, the ‘right’ kind of Latino.

lol, good one MyMy. No, immigration reform still won’t happen, but the Tea Party can now pretend to say that they are ‘supporting the Hispanic community’ while continuing to hurt them at every turn.

Absotively.

Just like the GOP thought that Herman Cain, Allen West and Ben Carson would help them win over Black voters, they think that anybody in a leadership role with an Hispanic name can help them win over Latino voters…

The possibility of GOP token Raúlly? Labrador becoming House Majority Leader is between none and ~belly laugh!~.

This TPM thread read should be given a good laugh worthy of an Onion piece.

Reminds me of President Obama’s first election when, later, the RNC chairmanship was given to Michael Steele. It was the GOPigs’ usual deft “outreach”: “Look…look!! We got us ONE too!”

A turtle in the Senate, and a Labrador in the House…

A Labrador?
