Why is any Democrat who wants to be credible in 2020 doing anything that pulls focus from 2018. Kerry’s book tour, Warren today, Booker and Harris touting their legislation, this dude.

Shut up, all y’all, and Do The Work.

Yep, I kinda feel that way about all the usual suspects being touted for the 2020 Dem presidential candidate. All beltway celebrity talking heads.

How about a listening head for a change?

I want a Western governor with a background in science and business, a pragmatic consensus builder who can bring political opponents to the table to solve problems. Over 65 is OK with me.

John Hickenlooper.

I’ll take a Biden and Harris ticket if Joe says he’s four and out to try to restore order to the republic.

Old guard turns it over to next-gen.

It’s time but things are realllllyy broken right now.

Open to others but need an experienced hand.

In Minnesota, sure, and for a state wide race. I don’t see “Minnesota Nice” being a winning strategy against Trump in 2020.

She was not very effective against the Kav during the confirmation hearing and let him get away with being an ass about whether she drank or not. If that’s all she got, she won’t last against Trump’s fury and spin.

I mean, if that’s your argument, that because someone won election a few times in a local or state race, then they have charisma enough to run for president, I’m just going to have to roll my eyes and walk away. Just curious why that wasn’t your response to those calling Swalwell boring, unless I missed it.
