“I think there’s those people who would say, ‘You know what, I wish you’d killed him,’” Placer County Sheriff Ed Bonner said at a news conference Friday evening. “Now, that’s not who we are. We are not him. We did our job.”

I thought I saw the last of the good-guys. Congratulations to whomever raised Sheriff Ed and gave him such a great outlook on life and his job. And the crew that actually arrested this guy instead of burning down a building or filling him full of holes.
Kind of sad that this seems so rare.
