So Miss Lindsey and her BFF sighed, looked each at the other, and Lindsey finally said, “Oh Jesus Christ on a Cracker, hun’! Let’s just give up and go get our license!”
And so they piddled on down to the courthouse and waited patiently:

BTW: Congratulations to all who value equality in this country. One more step!
An interesting side note----
The Justice who refused to block marriage equality in SC was Roberts, whose responsibilities include such issues concerning South Carolina.
And a note to TPM----stop using the term “gay marriage.”
It’s marriage equality—first, last, and always.
The Court’s response was terse.
“The application for stay presented to The Chief Justice and by him referred to the Court is denied. Justice Scalia and Justice Thomas would grant the application for stay.”
Looks as if, should the Court ever rule, the vote will be 7-2
