Gowdy is amateur hour. He swaggers all around w/ his hairdo du jour and his deep drawl and title…but he is really not that good.

He has wanted to be nominated for the open district court seat in his home state and he is preening for it.

This is part of the effort of the conservative white men in the US trying to assert and hoard as much power as they can, before a more diverse group of leaders is elected across the country in November. Please stop attacking the only tools we have in the toolbox right now and focus on getting the water supply cut off, the broken pipe capped off and the basement drained. Once we’ve turned back the flood, I welcome, nay demand a post mortem, but right now we need to stop flinging poo at each other and focus on the problem at hand.
