A cunning move by this legal team.

This is like saying that a “do not litter” sign only applies to the immediate space occupied by the sign, and not any of the space around it.

Stone is hoping this will be the exposure he needs to sell a few copies. He is not an A-lister even within the confines of the Trump world of criminal dumb asses.

Roger’s attorneys seem even more incompetent and crooked – boneheaded is the right word – than Rudy Giuliani, if that is even possible.

If nothing else Stone should do time somewhere in solitary so that he has time for some serious introspection. A verbal scolding would do no good at all. He needs to do some time in the “house of many doors”.

Judge ABJ said he wouldn’t get another chance. Period. If she lets this slide, she compromises not only her own power, but the power of the federal judiciary v. Trump et, al.

It should not occur to the judge to let Roger Ramjet continue to thumb his nose at the federal judiciary.

“Arrogantly Stupid” is not nearly a strong enough epithet for Stone.

There’s a trolling a judge so you can claim bias on appeal and there’s trolling a judge so hard that other judges will get angry at her for not locking your disrespectful ass up.

What a sad sack!

This is so bad that if it were described on an ethics exam for lawyers, it would be called unrealistic. Step by step, filing by filing, statement by statement, the disrespect to the court continues. Even if not ‘intentional,’ their (Stone and counsel) conduct suggests such a dismissive arrogance about the courts and any opposition, that the judge has to simply cut it off now - toss Stone in jail for and refer the lawyers for disciplinary proceedings.
Because of the outrageous attitude of Trump and friends towards the courts (and Congress, but that’s a different problem), the judiciary must hang tough and slap idiots like this down. Remember when the court ordered Kris Kobach to take and MCLE course in trial practice? Maybe a similar referral for ethics education is in order, along with the referral for the attorneys.
