Discussion: Stone On Alleged Lies: 'I Did Make Some Errors,' But They're 'Inconsequential'

You’d think all those economically anxious poorly misunderstood white male voters that we’re all supposed to feel such compassion for might have a problem with millionaires saying their “process crimes” aren’t really crimes and they’re able to post 250K bond and get on television, pleading their pathetic cases. But I guess you’d be wrong.

Anything goes in owning the libs.

He won’t go to that kind of jail. He’ll be in a white collar joint where some might have contempt for the tat, but it’s not going to be the kind of thing it would be in a maximum security state joint.

and here’s the counterpoint.

Finally, do not expect to see Special Counsel Robert Mueller make any attempt to flip Stone and have him cooperate. A defendant like Stone is far more trouble than he is worth to a prosecutor. Stone is too untrustworthy for a prosecutor to ever rely upon.

My cousin who has cable and I have been comparing ads that we see: I tell her what’s on Fox when I’m captive at the gym on my favorite machine and she tells me what’s on MSNBC. Surprisingly similar ads: adult diapers, tons of drugs, naturally, scammy investments, etc. In other words, no young people are watching cable television - and that gives me hope.

Indeed…I’m no tattoo expert that’s for sure, nor am I an expert on pervert fetishes either. Oh well, not my monkey, not my circus as they say.

I just want to see the look on his face when a guilty verdict is handed down. I guarantee he cries

Stone has limited use as a co-operating witness. Except maybe for one thing- the passwords to his electronic devices. Stone used encrypted software so Mueller may not have some conversations from Stone’s internet provider. If the feds cannot break into the devices they siezed on Friday, they many need his co-operation to speed up the process. I imagine there will be many conversations that will lead to more arrests. Mueller likely knows who he was talking to, but needs the direct evidence. And Roger Stone’s word about what he said is not going to convince anyone. The digital proof will though.

Anyone who needs to claim, ‘I’m human’ has problems at the get-go.

Plus, I love the toughest-talking, mini-mobster types (cue in: I’d take a bullet for Mr. Trump and/or I will fu*k you up Cohen) are the very ones who collapse within days once presented with Mueller’s evidence.

The King of Lies Trump has predictably reduced Stone to the hardly-knew-ye, coffee-boy status.

There’s a pattern here, doncha think?

Hey TOADY :bangbang::bangbang:

Is it true that when you go to bed you have a dick at your back at all times?

And when you’re standing there out in the crowd with your arms extended with those Nixon rabbit ears do you expect some special signal Go digital man explanation point

You know what they say are those who lay down with dicks on their back’s wake up with lies on their lips. You trump ToADY:heavy_check_mark::heavy_check_mark::heavy_check_mark::face_vomiting::face_vomiting::face_vomiting:

FYI, I just heard a figure and it’s under 30% of young people who watch any TV at all. Neither of my sons (in their late 20s) owns a TV - same for most of their friends. That’s a conscious decision on their parts, and they explain their choice as 1. too expensive 2. They despise Comcast 3. They think they get better news from good online sources (BBC, WaPo, etc.) 4. They can download a movie on their laptop or watch a sports event via streaming and that’s all they need.

I think he knows tRump well enough to know tRump only takes care of tRump. Playing ball with Mueller May be his best option.

Prove my memory.

Gee. Well, I guess the only possible conclusion is ‘not guilty,’ because… who knows? Republicans are telling me Vladimir Putin is saintly.

all these things are true, but they’re still missing a lot all the same. It’s like saying “I only read books and never touch the internet”
or
“I only look at the internet and never read books”

seems silly to cut yourself off from one type of information and communication

You don’t need to watch the stupid talking heads to follow what happens in the actual news.

Most of their junk is just filler ‘commentary’.

You can find the interesting and relevant clips easily enough online as stories get made about them.

By his own philosophies, it will come down to what is good and profitable for Roger.

Well, to be fair, he didn’t say he’d not testify, he said he wouldn’t “bear false witness”… which can be interpreted as “the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth” if it’s pertinent to saving his own ass.

Roger Stone is lying about lying. When he says that he’s lying without intent or that his lying is inconsequential, he is saying that lying comes naturally and effortlessly and that he lies all the time.

The Republican Party is a den of vile traitors.
