Discussion: Stone On Alleged Lies: 'I Did Make Some Errors,' But They're 'Inconsequential'

In the end, every villain retreats to the same defense: a bad memory. If it were half as effective as they hope, every prison and jail would be empty. The only question is whether officers of the court accept it at face value.

Roger Stone has been able to escape accountability for his evil behavior for decades through this clownish veneer that he’s cultivated, perhaps lulling the public to sleep as if he’s a mere harmless eccentric. He may not realize it, but that game stopped as of yesterday.

Forgot about the 30 texts he sent the day that he tells congress he’s had not communications? He’s right. He does not deserve prison. He should be confined to a mental institution until he dies. It’s for his own good – poor thing might wander out in traffic if he’s left unattended.

Whatever else Nixon was, I don’t think anyone ever thought for a nano-second that he’d sell out to the Soviets.

How far we’ve come, when even Nixon starts to look good.

The Steve Martin version of Stone on SNL last night was exceptional.

When they strap him to the electric chair for treason, he’ll probably ask for nipple clamps.

The biggest error Roger made was getting that Nixon tattoo on his back because a lot of fellow convicts will want to try to either lick it off of cut it off. Sad.

It astonishes me that CNN and the major network news organizations are still giving this liar a platform. What’s more, it seems that CNN and the networks, post shutdown, have gone back to their habit of giving more interviews with republican congressmen and senators than with Democrats. Why listen to republican representatives now that the House is controlled by a Democratic majority that will set the agenda?

Liberal media indeed.

I’m sure Mueller’s well aware you can believe nothing Roger Stone says unless it’s backed up by thorough documentation. He makes Paul Manafort look like George Washington.

On Friday, Stone was arrested and Trump gave up the government shutdown, holding out for his wall. A double whammy for Trump, but also sweet irony because it was Roger Stone and Nunberg who thought up the wall idea for Trump, as a means to remind the easily distracted Trump to talk about immigration when he was on the campaign trail. And now Stone is trying to get Trump’s attention to remind him about that pardon…

Roger, when a crow defecates on a rock and the sun hatches you, does not make you a human.

I’m sure he’ll be just as loyal as that guy who said he’d take a bullet for the president.

He’s like a wrinkled-creepy-swinger version of Carter Page’s creepy-zonked-affected-“professor” version of George Papadopoulas’s greasy-designer-stubbled-fixer version of Michael Cohen’s sad-sacked-receding-hairlined-halfassed “made guy” version of Paul Manafort’s Grecian-formula-ostrich-jacket’d-lobbyist-for-war-criminals version of Alex Jones’s totally-not-a-bottom-bare-chested-Bubba version of Matt-Whittaker’s-Roids-DON’T-make-your-dick-tiny version of…oh, whatever the fuck.

I’m done with these narcissistic sociopaths.

Mr. Schiff better watch out. These incarnations of pure evil will go to any depths of depravity to undermine and tar him.

“They’re right, I did forget on some occasions that I had text messages and emails that are entirely exculpatory, and prove that everything I said before the House Intelligence Committee was true,” Stone began in response.

He’s a true and loyal T rumpp lackey. With this, he is setting up his defense of suffering from dementia. This is the only possible explanation.
