Sports teams will print t-shirts and make hats showing they’ve won a championship game, although the contest is eventually lost. They’re anticipating.

regard as probable; expect or predict.
“she anticipated scorn on her return to the theater”
synonyms: expect, foresee, predict, be prepared for,

Of course I realize that's a tough concept for Trump to grasp. He grew up thinking doing his homework meant Daddy writing a check.

Real adults prepare a carefully edited statement when they see where the investigation is going.

Good lord…the man can’t read. C’mon. He waves these ‘memos’ around but you KNOW someone told him what it ‘might’ say.

You see this all the time. People ignorantly or purposely misconstrue a perfectly benign thing done by someone they don’t like and start yelling how the fix is in. But Trump is a very special case.

Plus the fact that what little remains of the email chain indicates the drafts were prepared by agents for Comey’s review. Sort of like the way real adults do their jobs in an organization.

New (though old) shiny object - tossed out by Trump. “Look, over there! Crooked Hillary, Cooked Books Comey! Rigged System!”

So transparent Donnie. But the shiny object seem to be a bit - well -not shiny. Eww. Its mold. Moldy Old trite statements/claims don’t have the same distraction power. Fail.

Der Furor is like Talleyrand’s description of the French Bourbons: He has learned nothing, and forgotten nothing.

Anyone besides me having problems with the comment system for new articles today? This seems to be the only story so far today that’ll accept comments I think.

Eh, gives me an excuse to get other things done instead…

Trump is what he is, which is what he has always been. Yes, he is a sociopath, a clueless, ignorant man. But, he can’t change who he is. Our problem is that almost half of us who voted in the 2016 election were either so stupid they shouldn’t be allowed on the streets unaccompanied, or they hated their fellow Americans so much they purposefully voted for Trump just to harm all of us. Unless we can change that almost 50% group we can look forward to the total destruction of our nation by that group. Someone needs to be working 24/7 to find a way to change that.

Everyone in this Admin and their dog has private email servers full of classified emails. Another case of Republican Splinter & Plank syndrome.

A Wednesday tweet storm! Guess he’s seen the poll numbers, the responses to his ever so thoughtful phone call to the Gold Star widow, his dwindling bottom line, and the ongoing Russia investigation. Alert the day care providers stat.

I know people who voted for Trump. Not a single one would change their vote after 10 months of Trump. Not one.

Someone might want to prepare the Time Out Chair for him early…

Apt graphic!

Keep in mind, Trump controls people by creating anxiety and uncertainty. It is not a happenstance, it is a tactic.

I disagree, more of it please. He is at that point in which he is starting to flail. Let it happen so people can see how far he will go.
