Discussion: Stewart On Christie's Ebola Quarantine: Don't Be A D*ck

Discussion for article #229385

Where would we be without Jon calling out these people? No one else will.

“Why does Christie have to be such a dick about everything?”

That’s like asking why water is wet.

On today’s edition of the Daily Show the question will be, Why Does Chris Christie Have to be Such a L*mp Dick?

Chris Christie; what gets quarantined in Jersey for public reasons gets sent back to Maine for personal reasons. What an impotent clown Christie is.

Fat Man Fucks Up…Again.

Seriously, Fat Man just lays it out there for comedians. He’s worse than Bush Jr.

Jon, it is all he knows - it is in his DNA, would you expect a cat to bark? a dog to meow?

I’d like a gif of Stewart saying “why does Christie have to be a dick about everything”

Just imagine how amazing he would have been moderating “Meet the Press”

Christie is such a big dick, he should be called a Richard.

Why is he a dick? He partakes in the Republican “double down on everything policy”. Never, ever say you made a mistake or you are wrong. Ever.

Chris Christie is what too many have become. Lying sacks.

Wolf Blitzer just now on CNN in covering the cure of Amber Vincent of Ebola absolutely freaked when everyone started giving her hugs and congratulations .
Wolf…SHE’S CURED. GET OVER YOURSELF. And while you are at it call up Christie, tell him to put the doughnut down. And then yell at him about his over reacting bully tactics.

I’d like to point out that Ebola emerged in Africa in the 1970’s and American scientists and healthcare workers have participated in care and research with this virus for over 40 years. They came home after past outbreaks and nobody freaked out over it.

“Stewart rolled an interview of Christie dismissing that nurse’s
testimony: “[T]he fact is I have a much greater, bigger responsibility to the people and the public, and so I think when she has time to reflect she will understand that as well,” the governor said.”

And the heroic nurse who deals with the blood and slop in attempting to save lives does she matter less? To that one person she’s God sent. She went to West Africa and worked to save lives while Christie stayed here safe and sound (if fat) and who tossed her into involuntary detention when she came home. I’ve not heard of one Governor or Congress person (house or senate) who have gone to West Africa to learn about the facts on the ground.
Christie, in my opinion, has acted like a bully fraidy cat. And now he’s afraid to admit he’s wrong.

It would have been hilarious. Unfortunately, “Meet the Republickens” would have been strictly the B-list guys who had nothing to lose (pretty much the same as The Daily Show today).

The A-list Republickens would never appear on a show hosted by Jon Stewart - they are too afraid.

Ummm…wait, maybe that would work…

In other words…a dick!

That’s redundant.
I’ve known fraidy cats who were not bullies, but trust me, bullies are always, always, always fraidy cats.

Good point.
