Discussion: Stewart: Fangate? Charlie Crist Just Needed To Cool His 'Sweaty Balls'

Discussion for article #228950

“Stewart then noted that this exact scenario had played out before, when Crist was running for the Republican nomination for governor in 2006”

It’s not easy learning about US politics, you know!

Error, or switched sides?

Crist indeed was a Republican the last time he was Governor. Switched more for convenience than conviction.

Oh, God, I love Jon Stewart. Bed, Balls, & Beyond–that’s going to make me giggle all day. Up until now, things were looking pretty grim, but now I feel much better.

Not exactly. He was always a centrist Republican until the Tea Party loonies took over the FL GOP and basically pushed him out. Crist wouldn’t play ball on a punitive anti-teacher bill and they made him pay for that.

He doesn’t have a lifetime of liberal convictions, that’s true - but given the constant state of disarray of the Florida Democratic Party and their chronic inability to recruit candidates and win elections, I am happy to have Crist in the fold now. Better late than never, if you ask me.

It’s true. Charlie’s Fan has a twitter account, and it confirms this:

Starting to smell down here. Tanman’s one sweaty bitch. None you biznatches have a clue how much dedication it takes to do this job.

Lex Luthor may have to retire to his island lair.

Isn’t that “Schwetty balls” as in the SNL sketch that was one of the funniest that I’ve seen?
