On FOX, both Keith Ablow and Krauthammer violate their medical ethics by diagnosing (publicly) individuals they have never met. I am not surprised that FOX allows this, but aren’t real medical professionals bothered by this?

What I loved about Colbert is he actually counted Obama’s use of the word “I” in the Obama speech and found that Krauthammer pulled his number out of his ass.

Just for the record, we hear the word “edgy” a lot used to describe someone who’s just being a little more vulgar and crass than we’ve seen before—Miley Cyrus and blood-stained Kent State sweatshirts come to mind—but I think real out-there chance-taking edginess is when you can make people laugh out loud by saying “What can I say? I’m a bit of an aardvark!” and it makes an absurdly whimsical kind of sense because you’ve set it up so brilliantly.

I’m going to miss Colbert when he goes to CBS as he won’t be able to do this kind of stuff. I just hope he uses the monologue and comedy segment before the guests come out to hit the right-wing clown show hard.

The next day, the new GOP balancing weight shill (Nicole Wallace) on the View, gushed (get her a towel please and a stomach discomfort bag for the rest of us) that CK is a ‘God’ to her party.

She actually said it twice.

Seems as if NBC is shooting for a non partisan ‘look’ with the heavy promo sand bagging of Joe Scarboro’s `entre into morning broadcast punditry (non cable) and Ms. Wallace as another voice of conservative reason.

I’m disappointed. Colbert is usually more original. I mean, everyone knows Krauthammer is a dick. After all, he’s a Fox News contributor and if that isn’t the very definition of “a kind of a dick” I’d like to know what is. When one says, “Fox News contributor” the dick part just goes without saying.
