CINCINNATI, Ohio – It first appeared in a tub of butter, and now, the image of Republican front-runner Donald Trump’s face has been spotted in a stool sample an Ohio woman claims to have produced after a night of eating too much spicy Mexican food at her niece’s quinceañera celebration.

“We were having a wonderful time,” said Hilda Fuentes, 42. [My niece] Carmen was very happy. Somebody turned on the television in the kitchen and there was news about Donald Trump kicking out Jorge Ramos from that news conference, and how he calls us rapists and illegals and criminals, so I turned it off and went back into the party. I was mad way down deep on the inside, but happy for my niece on the outside.”

Fuentes says after going “way off” her diet by overindulging in the variety of foods at the party, she had a fitful night’s sleep. “I had to try everything, there was so much good food but then I had some nightmares and tossed and turned all night long. One dream was that Donald Trump crashed our party, and I slammed the door in his face, and all the children beat him with sticks in the front yard.”

The following morning during Fuentes’ regular routine, she noticed something strange. “I want to explain this in a nice way,” she said. “My stomach was upset and I was a little 
 estreñido because of all the rice I think. So I finished up and went to flush, but something caught my eye.”

“It was floating right there up to the top – the waste I mean. It was kind of orange, and looking right at me with the rice for his little eyes, was the face of Donald Trump.”

The stool refused comment. And no further investigation is planned.

If it were up to me the phrase “hate crime” would be retired (or better, never have been used), in favor of something like “group intimidation” or the like. I’m not sure the word intimidation is right, but the idea is that the motive of the perpetrator nor the feelings of the victim are particularly key. The intention is good, but the interpretation is a mess. The word “hate” has a lot to do with both.

If words or actions are designed to encourage or force groups to give up civil liberties that should be a crime in itself or another layer on top of an existing crime. It’s more than calling someone a hurtful name. It’s preventing people from registering to vote or keeping them out of town after sunset. It’s targeting them for violence or threats of violence so that they will leave an area, or not show who they are by engaging in otherwise legal acts like marriage or even kissing. It’s changing codes are rules to keep certain groups from worshiping together. And so on. Feelings don’t need to be figured out. If it’s what we call a hate crime, it shouldn’t be understood to be a thought crime, but an activity.

That’s right, Pozzo! Stand tall and don’t ever back down. Your flag-mimicking big T makes you a protected class under the US law eligible for hate crime protections - and if it don’t it should, to protect all the other owners of faux-flag giant T’s who display them on their lawns and reduce property values in the neighborhood.

I’m sorry, no. Unless the burning is due to Pirozzolo belonging to a protected class,it is not a hate crime. But “neighborhood improvement” is not relevant. If we’re expect them to tolerate us, we have to tolerate them. We’re liberals need to be better than the $^#ing %@!&heads.

Okay, I get it that you were only joking. But we occasionally need to remind ourselves of our principles anyway.

I fully agree that we don’t need to descend to RWNJ tactics; we’re better than that.

But I would place money on the fact that Mr. Pirozzolo also likely had a “scent of gasoline” on him, if you catch my drift
