When did “most” of one thing become the obligatory “vast majority?” Vast is somewhere upwards of thousands of things. The poor English language is being dragged into the swamps by the illiterate with the help of the media. One wishes that journalists, at least, would do us a favor and not quote such bad examples of language use - after all, journalists are thought of as having at least have a high school diploma.
