Discussion: State Law Enforcement Mobilized To Probe Shooting Of Texas Tech Officer

Other reports I have read have stated it’s not clear who the gun belonged to, either the suspect or an officer. The 19-year-old, who is from Seguin, Texas, was studying Communications Arts, according to his Facebook profile.

Looks like one of those Muslim illegal aliens, to me.

Texas Tech is a campus that allows concealed carry of firearms per a 2016 law.

Golly, who ever could have imagined that something like this might happen?

In a statement, Abbott also says he offered condolences to Texas Tech University Chancellor Robert Duncan. He also says “hearts go out to the family of the police officer killed” and added he and wife Cecilia, “pray for the continued safety of the students and the entire community.”

Prayers should take care of any issues.

Apparently, it kept this guy safe from unwanted intruders, specifically, the campus police. He was able to fend off their attack. Guns make everyone safer.

Wait, RedState is powered by WordPress?

NBC has a different mugshot-- longer hair. Appears to be the same dude though, based on my totally amateur ability to recognize faces. Same background

So, repeat offender at Texas Tech.

I noticed that, too. Maybe this fine young man already has a distinguished career behind him.

ETA: Yup, it looks like this is arrest #2, and the photo I posted was from September 2016. https://texas.arrests.org/Arrests/Hollis_Daniels_28815070/

But that was also at Texas Tech. Is he repeating his freshman year? Scarcely matters now, I suppose.

Said shooter is Master Hollis A. Daniels of The Danielses of Seguin, Texas. His daidy is a councilman. His GRANDAIDY owned a whole mess of the-ayters and was a Big Man Around Town. So Windy Daniels’s grandson is going to be treated with kid gloves and a bespoke lawyer (he probably had his own personal counsel at birth). I’m sure they’re already cobbling together a “in fear for his life” argument for Prince Hollis.

Oh, I dunno. Their comments are typical of most of what I’ve seen on Yahoo. I’m surprised they aren’t leaping up to defend him, seeing as he’s Texan, carries a gun on him, from “family” (nobody’s as concerned about who yore daidy was as Muslims and SOUTHERNERS are) . . . white.

That probably explains why he wasn’t searched or bleeping handcuffed when he was politely escorted to campus police HQ (note the careful omission of any word that might imply “arrested”.) Sad.
