Discussion: State Dept Ousts Official Who Profited Off Emergency Declaration In Iran

When this shit becomes public then these fucks need to be sitting in front of a House committee within three days so as to minimize the time they can try and cover up the evidence of their crimes.

I like that idea of a subpoena cannon.

I want to know how much Trump and his family made on the deal. Any reporting on how much Jared profited?

In other words, Faulkner got pushed out for doing what Dementia Donny does every day.

The official, Charles Faulkner, helped plan the emergency declaration, which resulted in an $8 billion arms sales to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, a sale that put billions of dollars in the pockets of a defense firm — Raytheon Co. — that he used to represent as a lobbyist, according to the WSJ.

Now that the dirty deed has been done this guy is of no use to this maladministration anymore. So, bam! He served his purpose while he could.

Ya think we can get Saudi Arabia to return the items they illegally purchased without Congressional approval now that the jig is up? I’m pretty sure it’s a little late to ask MBS to return those items. Pretty sure if tRump ordered him to do so he would have the U.S. issue a restocking fee on their return, and make them pay for their own shipping and handling in the process.

Yeah, that’s never gonna happen. This covert “deal” always stunk to high heaven and the bogus emergency declaration was always a ruse.

Oh, not Pompeo then? Phooey!!

And who approved the private arms contract for this guy from Raytheon to sell the Saudis this stuff? That’s clearly another thing missing from this article. Its not that this guy acted on his own. He had someone higher up in this maladministration approve this. tRump and his lackeys (ie Pompeo) knew exactly what they were doing when he sold that shit.

Too late folks. The Saudis ain’t giving up that shit…and we ain’t getting our money back either. Raytheon guy is the fall guy when the real culprits are tRump, Kushner and Pompeo.

Eventually, this will not end well.

Didn’t give Trump a sufficient taste

Democratic lawmakers are interested in knowing whether Faulkner violated ethics rules by working on the emergency plan.

Ethics rules? Since when did anyone care or do anything about “violated ethics rules”? Just take a number and get in line. Nothing’s going to happen … again.

Sometimes it feels as if we are reliving the classic days of blatant corruption in the latter 19th and early 20th century. This looks like the old fashioned kind of “good clean graft” that political machines used to do (with apologies to Al Smith).

First qualification of a job in the Trump Administration: being a stone-cold grifter.
