OT: I actually purchased a bullwhip for a boss back in the late 70s as a Xmas gift. She proceeded to show the staff that she knew how to crack it. One of my favorite bosses.

Jeez, where DO they get these people? I mean, you could get a kindergarten teacher who would do a better job at helping people get along. (In fact, that might be a good choice.) Instead of someone interested in form and communication and dignity, they get a thug who wants to intimidate?
