Whatever happened to “It’s a free country?” Is the man supposed to go into hiding and retire to an isolated cave, there to live out his life as a hermit and holy anchorite? Should Dylann Roof’s mother get thee hence to a nunnery? Jesus, what’s wrong with the press? Rapacious much? Trumpism was here long before Trump, and the press and visual media played a big part in cultivating it. Trump just gave it a name.
Edit. And if a close relative of anti-abortion extremist Scott Roeder, killer of Dr. George Tiller, showed up uninvited at a Trump rally, it would be just as irrelevant.

I am convinced that Trump won the primaries by simply parroting crazy conservative talk in comment sections of websites. The threat of using “2nd Amendment remedies” against Hillary Clinton is quite common on the internet. Trump failed to realize that his primary strategy of parroting the crazy talk wouldn’t work in the general election and he really has nowhere else to turn now for his political ideas.
