In other words, Duterte’s admiration for Hitler is clearly a positive for the President. Clearly.

No, he’s not. He’s not well aware of anything. Except, perhaps, how many EVs he got.

Why does SpiceBunny even bother showing up for these? Everyone knows when he opens his mouth, it’s either bullshit, ignorance, or a combo platter.

So Trump is rewarding Duterte by extending the hospitality of the White House and of the American People to him??? What other dictatorial tyrants will we be entertaining at the White House or Mar-a-Lago at taxpayer expense?

We’re having trouble with the psycho mass murder who lives down the block. Better get pro-tips from the other psycho, mass murderer who lives across the street.

Duterte has personal reasons for disliking the US. If there’s no clear advantage for him to come, he won’t.

“The President gets fully briefed on the leaders that he’s speaking to, obviously,” Spicer said.

“It’s difficult to do,” he went on to say. “We have to keep the sentences to under ten words, and we have to make sure that the vocabulary used in the briefings roughly matches that used in The Cat in the Hat.

“That makes it hard. While the Cat in the Hat was not a good guy, he was no despot, and that makes it hard to explain to the POTUS, since the book doesn’t include words like “murder” or “torture”.”

…and MuerteDuterte has wonderful approval ratings among the living Filipinos. That’s all that counts, TrumpChumpStumper

Journalists asked Spicer about Duterte encouraging the extrajudicial killings of drug users and his comment that journalists are not exempt from assassination.

Boris: “Well, murder is immoral.”

Sonja: “Immorality is subjective.”

Boris: “Yes, but subjectivity is objective.”

Sonja: “Not in any rational scheme of perception.”

Boris: “Perception is irrational, it implies immanence.”

Sonja: “But judgement of any system or a priori relation of phenomena exists in a rational or metaphysical or, at least, epistemological contradiction to an abstract and empirical concept, such as being, or to be, or to occur in the thing itself, or of the thing itself.”

Boris: “Yeah, I’ve said that many times.”

I had no idea Boris Badenov was so philosophical. Maybe he was talking about moose and squirrel.

the purpose of Duterte’s visit would be to discuss North Korea.

Manila is 1700 miles from Seoul and the Philippines can barely project power 25 miles off their own coast. Not sure they’re going to help dissuade NK from anything.

None of the above! Trump seems like he would like them all.

We’re well aware. We’re going to ignore them, but that doesn’t mean we’re not aware.

Duterte himself is not sure if he wants to come. Probably doesn’t want to bee seen with Trump. Or maybe afraid that he will be arrested and put on trial for all the people that he has personally illegally executed .

There are several with very high levels of melanin, I am quite sure Trump doesn’t like any of those.

And by the way, Trump voters, “melalin” has nothing to do with “Melania” .

During the White House press briefing, journalists asked Spicer about Duterte encouraging the extrajudicial killings of drug users and his comment that journalists are not exempt from assassination.

That last part is what piqued Chiselin’ Trump’s interest in meeting Duterte.

Trump is just cozing-up to any and all dictators who’ll stand by him as his administration gets throttled by the law in the near future. He’ll be beckoning to them in daily ‘save me’ tweets as he and his criminal enterprises fall into prosecutorial purgatory and prison sentences.
