Has to be Senate confirmed person. So,either deputy sec or sec.
Part of me wants to believe AG Yates and President Obama discussed this, and together hatched the plot to force Trump to fire her.
Bannon changed it so they must pledge fealty to Trump or Bannon.
Iâm curious to know if the Bannon on the NSC needs senate approval story is real/substantive.

If so, that could be the misstep needed.
Current State of Trump Administration:
Right. The Acting AGâs first loyalty (and the Presidentâs for that matter) is to the Constitution and the faithful execution of laws consistent therewith. If the acting AG thinks enforcement of an EO would be illegal, he/she is duty bound to say so and act accordingly.
Only someone who was confirmed by the Senate. She was, he was not. It is in the law.
Not sure the goal of this is to have a bunch of yes men at your service. They are supposed to be experts that advice on legality and execution of a given thing. That Trump seems to just one yes men is concerning.
As she was even asked during her confirmation if she would stand up to a president. She said yes, but apparently that no longer applies.
How dare the Department of Justice use the rule of law and the ConstitutionâŚoff with their heads, says Spicer. He must have missed the part of her vetting where Sessions agreed with herâŚSometimes you just need to tell POTUS NO.
A Pulitzer, perhaps?
Itâs pretty foolish to limit checks on power this early in an authoritarian regime when the opposition can flood the streets of DC with tens of thousands of people on two dayâs notice.
âAnd sheâs lucky we donât have Siberia and its Gulag to send her to, as we work to purge any moderate voices in the land.â
âSean âStalinâ Spicey
[Spicer] said Trump was âvery clearâ about his agenda during his campaign and transition to the presidency.
Thatâs right. Chiselinâ Trump could not have been more clear during his campaign and transition that he fully intends to allow torture, having gone so far as to say, âI would bring back a hell of a lot worse than waterboarding.â I suppose, then, that according to Spicer, any dissenters on Chiselinâ Trumpâs team should simply resign or wait to be fired.
The betting oddsmakers (the people who are at risk of losing everything if they fix the odds mistakenly) say it is 4:1 that Trump does not last six months.
Bless your heart , SeanâŚyou donât think it applies to you as well⌠remember your leaderâs last job (as well the snow, con , blow varieties.).
I guess, then, that itâs pretty clear that Chiselinâ Trump wants to surround himself only with Yes-men.
So when Trump decides to carry through on his campaign promise to arrest Hillary Clinton, your choice is to comply or resign? Why stop there? I am sure he can find âTrumped Upâ charges for anyone.
Unapologetic fascism.
PoorPoorPaulieâŚNote in the 2nd line of his blathers "weâve ran onââ --gives new meaning to the 'run-on sentence.
Seems pretty straight forward to me. Do your job or find another.
It is nothing but politics. If that were the case, then why did the AGâs office make a determination they werenât going to defend the DOMA? That was the law of the land, yet they decided they were not going to defend it.
