Discussion: Spicer Dodges On Whether Trump Taped Comey: 'Tweet Speaks For Itself'

I am not lawyer but I was reading Alan Dershowitz’s article today, which claimed that the legal concept of obstruction of justice was too broad and that Trump was not obstructing justice by firing the FBI Director for making him a target of a counterintelligence, money laundering and other high crimes.

With John Roberts claiming with solomonic wisdom that taking suitcases of money, expensive cars, vacations and Rolexes is not bribery, I really worry about the state of our country.

Coz who doesn’t invite the (shudder) President of the United States to dinner every now and then?

I mean, really.

Please.

For the curious, his salary is $176,461. The same salary as the First Lady’s Chief of Staff. I’ll bet taking care of Melania is a hell-uv-a-lot easier than taking care of El Presidente Naranja Mentiroso.

Certainly the secret service tapes everything in that building

What difference does it make?

That tweet was a clear threat according to my understanding of standard English

If any such tapes exists, I’m sure they’d only verify Comey’s account so, these tapes would conveniently disappear.

“The tweet speaks for itself. I’m moving on,” Spicer said. because this?

Obviously, President trump records all conversations he has. If he didn’t, the senile and unstable leader wouldn’t remember what he said to anyone. As it is, even with the recordings, he cannot remember if Obama is a citizen or not a citizen. He can’t remember who is supposed to pay for his wall. But at least he remembers he’s such a star he can grab women any way and any time he wishes. Some things turn into an unconscious habit when you’re a pervert POTUS.

Speaking of tweets, Trump breaks the law every time he edits one of his.
