Finally some good news! I’m so glad she was found alive and relatively unharmed.

The witness said Freeland-Gaither — described by her parents as easygoing until she’s threatened — had broken the car’s rear side windows.

Never give up! The secondary crime scene is where abductors take their victims to murder them. Do not cooperate with an abductor. Kick out the windows!

Great work by police and FBI on this one. And goes to show how surveillance cams, GPS, etc., are very useful tools in catching scumbags who do stuff like this.

Yup, they said she was even fighting when she was bound in the back of the car. And what this POS did to that other poor girl (burns, etc.) was absolutely sickening. Lock him up and leave him there the rest of his life.

Hopefully they can close some other cases now that they have this psycho. I have no doubt he’s done it before.

Agreed. If the end result is death, fighting gives you some chance.

This is what synergy is all about. All the forces came together and made it possible for this young woman to be found alive, and returned to her family. This is one of the few times I’ve been proud of our police force in Philly. Job well done.

When the lead investigator called the family, the sister sounded very forlorn. He told her to cheer up because he had good news, now put your mom on the phone! Sweet!

Kicking out the glass was really smart. The police are definitely going to stop a car with a bunch of broken-out windows.
