This was such a long shot to begin with and Pressler didn’t help. Who knows. I am not good at crystal ball gazing
The blame, as it ultimately does in all elections, lies with the voters, in particular those who allowed themselves to be suckered into voting for a Republican for whatever reason and those who abdicated their most basic civic duty and failed to vote.
A good part of the blame lies with Weiland. Bringing intra-party fighting into the open is never a good idea. Sometimes the powers that be are against you for stupid reasons, and you have to suck it up and take it at least until the election is over. Just ask Chris McDaniels how taking the other approach works out.
SD is a small state. Santorum got on a freaking bus and visited every county in IA in the last coupla months of that campaign and had very little ad money and he won the IA Caucus. Weiland coulda ran the same kinda campaign in SD with more money than Santorum had. Wtf did Weiland do?
Who’s to blame are so-called Liberal media & their talking heads bashing Obama over the most insignificant garbage but always giving GOTP insanity a pass, acting like their insanity doesn’t stink. The 1% media wins again, by pretending to be Liberal as they sabotage us from inside. What’s it going to take for people to get it, the Liberal media is NOT Liberal at all, it’s the contrary. 1% Media in Liberal clothing.
