What, not even a bit of watersports with them? Prude.
“I’m hesitant to pass something when we get into itemizing every potential wrongdoing that a legislator could commit, lest this become a criminal code rather than a code of ethics,” Rep. David Lust (R), pictured above, told the Argus Leader.
He just didn’t have in his heart to support the bill.
As Jimmy Carter might say.
“Sen. David Lust” okaaaayyy
I fucking hate this country.
Dave Lust: I cant support the ban as I just cant overcome Lust.
There was a show running in London when I was there years ago entitled No Sex, Please, We’re British, a hilarious farce involving porno from Scandinavian porno. It must have inspired SD lawmakers especially the Lust-ful guy…
@sniffit You only have to hate 49 states.
GOP: A ban like this would lead to banning sex with animals. We must stop it.
Totally agree, what is the point of having interns if you can’t screw them Time honored tradition, in Classic Greece if you enrolled as a trainee with a famous politician, soldier or philosopher you had to be aware that your butt was going to be sore.
We truly are living in a Monty Python skit.
Foley: I am moving to SD; they are so progressive.
“At least one lawmaker faces charges for allegedly groping a legislative page in 2007.”
Make America Grope Again!™
IOW, South Dakota Republicans want the option to screw both their interns and the South Dakota working class. Hey, why choose between the two when you don’t have to.
Why do you think we hire them cute little things, anyway?
Who knows, maybe they won’t let me grope my secretary either next, if I can’t feel up my interns
Trump: I am a fighter for rights for those in power. You should be able to exploit the weak any way you want.
Just wait until same sex sexual contact occurs. You’ll see a law PDQ!
The state legislature’s Rule 1A-4 states “Sexual harassment prohibited. All [Democrat] members are responsible for ensuring that the workplace is free from sexual harassment. All [Democrat] members shall avoid any action or conduct which could be viewed as sexual harassment. A member shall report any sexual harassment complaint [against Democrat members] to the presiding officer of the house to which the member belongs. If the situation is not resolved, the member shall forward the complaint to the Executive Board of the Legislative Research Council.”
They would have passed the Rule if only it had included the bracketed amendment language, consistent with the National GOP’s lead in impeaching President Clinton but ignoring similar sexual conduct by Impeachment Committee Member Rep. Dan Burton.
Well, well, that’s the christian thing to do.
You can’t make this stuff up. Apparently even the irony couldn’t give Rep. Lust pause…
