My daughter is a corporate recruiter. One large retailer has been having so many problems recruiting seasonal workers they have had to significantly increase their hourly rates. That is a sign that the economy is approaching full employment at least locally.
I just saw David Stockman on the TV this morning, These jobs are all part time jobs, with no benefits. This is what all this job creation is and if the tax bill passes it is going to devastate all poor working stiffs. plus adding trillions to the debt. What a fucking mess.
This is absolute proof that the Republican tax scam is necessary to increase the number of jobs in this country. We’re currently at full employment, and need more job opportunities for American workers. If we’re not careful about this, soon we’ll need immigrants 
to fill the jobs to keep our economy going! Either that or give the 1% tax incentives to resume offshoring jobs to keep those pesky immigrants out of this country. It really is difficult being a Republican these days. Everything they do seems to be unnecessary and counter-productive.

I agree with you on the tax bill, but disagree that these are all part time jobs with no benefits, Possibly in some areas, but around here, nope. Good full time positions with good benefits are hard to fill. Negativity fed in to Trump’s win and we should avoid it…
