“Congress must act to ensure the long-term fiscal viability and sustainability and survival of Medicare and Social Security,” said Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price. “There are a great many ways that the situation can be addressed. The bottom line is that it must be addressed.”
I’m so sure Price’s former colleagues are working on a solution to the problem, day and night. How about removing the income ceiling on SS earnings? Crazy idea, I know…but I’m certain that “top men” are on it, as I type this…top…men.
I think the problem will be solved when the Russians get distracted by another country’s inattentiveness, and the Koch Brothers find a different hobby (different than ruining the country and the lives of everybody in it who is not wealthy), resulting in free elections, with the Dems able to regain some power to actually act for the public good - kind of like FDR and the Dems back in the 1930s. Or Obama.
Now I can afford to stay on Prime…
…think I’m joshin’?
But hey, what about the millionaires? Don’t they deserve then maybe a 25% tax break so they can rake in millions more?
Oh, the humanity…
Maybe Kushner can work on solving the money crunch!
Social Security recipients have seen their cost-of-living adjustments erased by higher premiums for Medicare Part B.
Uh…so what was that you were saying about 'non-existent" inflation??
Won’t cutting back healthcare lead to fewer people on social security? GOP comes to rescue once again!
