That’s just one bad apple!!!
Teatroll Rosetta Stone:
“Democrat friendly voting laws” = “laws that make voting easier and increase the availability of the franchise to citizens”
What could be more fucking pathetic? “We lose when people vote, so we need to make sure as few people are voting as possible.”
“Ripe with voter fraud”
Then there must be plentiful evidence, no?
Put up or shut up.
These things have to be paced out. I’ll bet that she’s saving “jiggery-pokery”, “hanky-panky” and “imposture” for those “special occasions.”
At least this shows how bogus their bullshit appeal to the Supremes is.
. “Six days of voting in one week is enough. Period.”
why? How does it harm you if seven days of voting are available? God I hate these fucking people.
Agreed, but the whole Drumpf campaign has been kinda “special”, hasn’t it?
"No group of people are entitled to their own early voting site, including college students, who already have more voting options than most other citizens,” Woodhouse wrote.
Sweet - does that mean we can yank all the polling places out of churches, then?
If Ruthugs don’t think that they can win an election honestly (much to my dismay, there are still many races in the US that they can win), they will try to win by any means necessary. Obviously, “by any means necessary” includes disenfranchisement, vote suppression, and erecting all manner of barriers in the way of groups that tend to vote Democratic.
Of all the crap the GOP has been guilty of for the last 40 years, this ongoing battle to keep Americans from participating in our participatory democracy is the most heinous, egregious thing of all. It is anti-American and now they are running Putin’s bitch for a candidate?
What happened to this country? What happened to those people?
Good article that starts to explain.
The dark history of Donald Trump’s rightwing revolt
The Republican intellectual establishment is united against Trump – but his message of cultural and racial resentment has deep roots in the American right

Thanks!! One of my favorite things about comments boards is people linking to great pieces I would likely otherwise never see.
“Our Republican Board members should feel empowered to make legal changes to early voting plans, that are supported by Republicans,” Woodhouse wrote. “Republicans can and should make party line changes to early voting.”
The Supremes will enjoy reading this little bit of racist partisanship as they prepare to toss the NC request for a stay into the nearest circular file.
We should be very thankful that the NC Republicans are both stupid and ham-handed—besides being racists and assholes.
It’s a sobering read.
I know what you mean. It’s a good thing, mainly. Although, on the down side, I have a folder full of links I intend to read when I get the time -if I get the time
Re those two questions
First one:2008
Second one:Obama got into office.
Both of my answers will work with either of those two questions.
I know you’re right.
I know it - it’s the whole goddamn reason and that makes it far more American than it looks.
And I am seeing that I underestimated the depth of this country’s sexism, too.
Mmmm…How desperate can you get?
Republican Path to Victory: “***If You Can’t Beat Em’___Cheat Em’!***” And they’re pulling out all stops in N.C. to try to hold onto power.
Nah it won’t be a stay.
Maybe it could have been (even with the possible NC/Texas alliance) about a million years ago.
Whether its this year or next,if McCrory and Abbott get a DC court date, they will be looking at a 5-3 loss.
Its inevitable now.
McCrory is going to lose to Cooper—badly—in November, so it will be moot at that point.
