Discussion: Sitting Rep's Campaign Collected Dead Man's Signature On Challenger's Behalf

According to Taylor, no. He tried to defend tRump’s massive voter fraud lie, and ended up saying there was more than a handful of fraud in eight counties in Virginia. Gotta love that Google Machine- http://thehill.com/homenews/house/319184-gop-rep-points-to-decent-amount-of-voter-fraud-in-virginia

AND he should know.

What an ***wipe and an unpolished speaker forgetting verbs that would ordinarily explain activity on behalf of somewhat wooden deflections of his own responsibility. No verbs, no activity, at least in his verbal defense to these charges of seriously unethical and unlawful manipulation of voters for the benefit of his own campaign. Essentially, he may have been supporting in ways yet unknown the candidacy of another candidate likely to drain support from his Democratic opponent. This is what needs to be investigated. Meanwhile, he’s saying this calling-out of his utterly smarmy behavior is some sort of plot from Democrats, as he hopes to bluff his way past the evidence.

Yep. Again:

That’s an old-fashioned kind of voter fraud. Its been used here in Michigan at times to put a stalking horse candidate on the ballot that you know will be a drain on the more popular candidate you’re trying to defeat. In fact, that’s where the term stalking horse comes from I believe. Using the phony signatures to get on the ballot is one way of doing that.

Shouldn’t the flair be on the outside so people can see it?

Taylor campaign’s payroll “appear to have been forged.” One of the forged names, according to earlier reports, is a dead man’s. Another is a woman’s who moved out of the state years ago.

Well, at least we know Taylor’s campaign follows Kris Kobach and his advice for the GOP.

Honestly, I still choke with rage at the mention of Nader’s name. But at least many of his voters had the good grace to be repentant.

I’m racking my brain to remember if any of the “voter fraud” cases Kobach has uncovered had to do with false identity…nope mostly people who voted twice. In one case absentee and in person and another because they had property in KS and another state.

But he hasn’t been.

He hasn’t run an efficient and effective office. That’s really all you need to know about Scott Taylor, voters.

A sitting republican legislator involved in a conspiracy to commit voter fraud? I’m shocked. Not.

His staff was being paid $1200 a week and were too lazy to go find actual people to sign petitions? Double shame.

Taylor gave the following statement:

“My campaign has a zero-tolerance policy for [any of my staffers getting CAUGHT doing] inappropriate activities.”

–> Cheerfully fixed it for you.
No charge!

Watching the manic Steve Kornacki discuss the early vote totals in the special election in O-H-I-O. Looking good 25 minutes into the count, Dems. Stay strong.

I grabbed a neighbor in my district in Michigan today to go vote. She says she votes all the time but it was clear when we got to the polls, she hadn’t been there in a long while. The giveaway was that she didn’t seem to know the process of signing in first for our precinct workers to crosscheck names in their books…or how to stick the ballot into the machine. Glad I got her to go with me though. She’s a “no” on anybody that supports Republicans these days, especially tRump, but wasn’t much of a Dem before that.

So when Republicans talk about so much voter fraud occurring, they were talking from experience?

Good for you! I hope your neighbor finds voting sort of habit forming

Me too. All it takes is familiarity and not feeling intimidated by the process. I remember the last municipal election she said she was going to vote and then told me later she forgot. That to me is a sign that there might be something that makes her feel awkward about it and just going and doing it. I could tell she felt really good though afterwards, like she really accomplished something worthwhile. That’s all to the good.

Honest go gods, I just the other day saw a car with a Nader bumper sticker on it. I almost did a spit-take with my coffee.

Beavis’s sister’s gloves don’t match.

I wasn’t a big fan of hers, but your analysis is highly flawed. She may have tipped the margin in MI but the assumption that if she had not been on the ballot that all those votes in PA and WI would have gone to HRC is not true. Most of the Jill Stien voters I met really disliked HRC and would have put in a write-in name or just not voted in the presidential election. HRC wasn’t getting 95% of her voters in PA.

Ratfucking has a long, storied tradition in the ranks of the GOP. I tip my hat to the audacity and feigned innocence of this scheme, though.
