Ewwww. So there’s more than one?
There are about two ways of fighting when you are faced with the possibility that you committed a crime. The first is - if you don’t think you did anything wrong, the truth should set you free. If you are worried you committed a crime, your lawyer will fight for you.
when “fighting back” takes the form of obstructing justice, then yes, you will be accused of obstructing justice
welcome to adulthood dumbfuck
And his five chins, too.
I love your optimism! Tell me more!!
If fighting back means using the powers of your office to shut down an investigation of criminal activity, then yes you are guilty of obstruction of justice.
When you respond to allegations with ascertainable facts, credible evidence and logical argument you are “fighting back.” When you come to the table both unarmed and incompetent you are Donald Trump.
Trump spawn is such an ugly term.
I prefer the term “Trump larvae”.
But that’s just me…
Filed under “more evidence of intent.”
PLEASE. KEEP. TALKING. Don’t shut up now, Donny Dunning-Kruger, you’re on a roll!!!
you have a point
Reading what he said makes me wonder if he has convinced himself that he hasn’t done all of these things. He may actually believe these things when he says them because he wants them to be true. The only thing that matters is getting past the moment. He’ll worry about the next moment when he gets to it. (And really–so many people have believed his lies for years that it almost makes sense for him to believe that you can fool all of the people all of the time.)
He would definitely pass a lie detector test because he has so completely blurred the lines between truth and lies that for all intents and purposes, the words have no meaning where he is concerned. (Lie detectors are absolutely beatable–it would be actually entertaining to try and watch them get a baseline on him.)
Listening to Larry Nassar’s defensive letter yesterday reminded me of him. If he does go down (and please G-d, he will), he will never, ever admit to being wrong. He may not even admit it to himself. It’s just a pathology with him.
So, what did he admit this time?
Collusion is not a crime but conspiracy is. And it is looking like the tRump campaign conspired with a foreign government to sabotage the Clinton campaign and undermine out election process.
“all of them Katie”
Our fighting back POTUS does not understand that anything he says can be used against him. Why did he hire attorneys?
He doesn’t understand that the office of president comes with responsibilities as well as power. Of course, he doesn’t really understand the notion of “reponsibility” as applied to him. Which makes him a perfect candidate for the party of personal same.
When I Fight Back, I Get Accused Of Obstruction Of Justice!

I’m sure what he believes changes from hour to hour if not moment to moment. He may have persuaded himself that he didn’t really do anything wrong and maybe he could pass a polygraph because they’re bogus.
It might make it hard to prove he had the required criminal intent but I think there’s enough concrete evidence of a pattern of covering up that can establish he was trying to hide what happened, so at some point he was afraid he did something possibly illegal - I don’t know for sure.
I was just laying out the way it works in the real world, not in Trump’s head. I’m not sure he quite gets that just because he thinks he didn’t do anything wrong that does not automatically equate to actually doing nothing wrong.
No Donnie.
It’s only when you speak / tweet / move / lie / breathe, that it’s obstruction of justice…
Perhaps this is giving him too much credit for having the slightest shred of self-awareness, but Trump must wake up every day and feel like he’s in that dream we’ve all had where you’re at the desk taking a final exam time and you haven’t studied at all. Trump must live every second of his miserable life knowing he knows nothing about what he’s doing, how government works or that the law is not just a suggestion. I have zero sympathy for the fool. He’s always been a spoiled brat who never thinks anything should constrain his obscene appetites. Go get him, Mr. Mueller.
