If these folks had enough sense to read the instruction booklet that comes with a gun two things would follow. They wouldn’t be dead, and they wouldn’t own a gun.

I’m just taking it as a given that the guy and his girlfriend were both naked at the time.
This guy is a perfect example of that. He took out a Bad Guy With a Gun.
Well, they took pictures several times during the day. Quite proud of their purchase.
I’m no gun expert, but it seems to me that a weapon need not be loaded in order to take a selfie.
This isn’t the first time we’ve read of someone “taking a selfie with a gun” here at TPM. Apparently gun/camera confusion is a common problem among teh Gun Nutz™.

The NRA will solemnly announce that in order to prevent people from shooting themselves while taking selfies, it will be necessary to ban cameras.
I think a suspension of have-some-compassion-for-the-family is in order.
