I’m still scratching my head about the habeus corpus statement. In the immortal words of Inigo (edited) Montoyo in Princess Bride, “You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.” Habeus corpus, latin for produce the body, is a legal term that has nothing to do with secreting uncharged suspects to Guantanamo Bay. It in fact would mean the opposite and require him to bring the person before a court so they are treated according to our laws by the courts, not the executive branch, And this guy supposedly earned a Masters degree somewhere?!
