Geez, the NRA has let us down yet again. Why didn’t they arm everyone in town with massive numbers of assault weapons and other weapons of mass destruction? They know full well by now that the more guns around, the safer we all are! If it were up to the NRA, everyone in that restaurant would been locked and loaded to start firing. And most likely kill each other and their children, maybe get lucky and actually hit the shooter in the bloodbath. A no-brainer, apparently, to the NRA.

Clearly this is a mental-health issue, not a gun issue. Obviously he was off his anti-sketchy meds and if not for the job-killing Obamacare, he would have had all of the free meds he needed at the emergency room. Furthermore, now is not the time to talk about gun violence except to say that more guns is obviously the answer. If that 15-year-old girl had had a gun, NOBODY WOULD HAVE BEEN KILLED, why can’t you libby lib libs see that? She could have shot the gun out of the mentally-deranged man’s hand, then given him a panini while she waited for backup. Study it out.

I agree that this is a mental health issue. However, you’re wrong that ERs provide mental health services and/or medication. Obamacare is actually a step in the right direction on this front because it requires providers to cover mental health services. Unfortunately, people like this probably don’t buy insurance (even if it’s fully subsidised).
Also, I’m interested in your “job killing” argument. Please support?

Recall that case in California a few years back when some nut shot a bunch of people in a MacDonalds?
A number of persons, numbering about the population of Chicago, claimed to have been there that day, but – damn it – they left their hand gun in the car! If only there had been open carry, damn it, they aver. But for those damned libs.
NRA: At least the gun is safe. Please tell us that the gun is safe.
I know that area very well and everyone pretty much is armed. You don’t need the NRA.
I could pretty much assure you that somebody in that place had some kind of piece on them. Maybe it wasn’t legal, maybe it happened too fast, maybe nobody wanted to get involved when cops were involved. This would be a good study potentially on why a good guy with a gub, well you know.

I know that is hard for cops, as most are ammosexual themselves. But I cringe anytime a sheriff or police chief starts talking about armed citizenry. I someone is going to kill you doesn’t matter what kind of licence or how many guns you carry, they always have the advantage of surprise.
BTW The cops in the UK are mostly unarmed. And I do not think they get killed any more than cops in the US. Maybe so many guns in the street is not so good.
Good thing there are plenty of guns around. Otherwise, how would these nut jobs get them?

Without even reading the article I’m going to give this one a go… Somebody with a gun, doesn’t matter if good guy or bad, shoots dead someone else, doesn’t matter whether accidental or not and the shooter is guilty of nothing and the gun just went off and the gun freaks are crying false flag.
That about it?
