I happen to catch some of that and Wallace was trying to make some points about Iraq and Smith made the point that" Maliki wanted us out of there".From that point on Wallace was kind of stumbling and bumbling his way.

They won’t. But Fox occasionally needs to make noises to pretend that they’re not, in fact, a complete propaganda outfit.
In a Washington Monthly piece in June 2004 David Brooks wrote:
It’s not too early to begin thinking about what was clearly an intellectual failure. There was, above all, a failure to understand the consequences of our power. There was a failure to anticipate the response our power would have on the people we sought to liberate. They resent us for our power and at the same time expect us to be capable of everything. We were so sure that we were using our might for noble purposes, we assumed that sooner or later, everybody else would see that as well.
Of course this was after being a huge supporter of the Iraq war.
