Trump said the travel ban was urgently necessary, and also temporary until we could sort out “extreme vetting” or whatever. And yet, despite the lack of enforcement, no harm has befallen US interests without the ban in place. And if they were going to be working on a solution during the temporary ban, what’s stopping from doing that now? Instead of the absolutely nothing they’re doing instead?

I’m looking forward to seeing whether Sessions, Flynn, Kushner, Manafort, and Page can all get sent to the same facility. I don’t think they deserve any favors, but it would add some fun to their prison experience if they could get together for a regular card game and to watch sports together.
