I wonder how long he’ll be in office before he realizes he is the actual Attorney General for the United States? Granted, the more time he spends flacking like he’s still in the Senate means less time undermining enforcing the rule of law.

From the Justice Department’s website: Permitted and Prohibited Activities

All Department of Justice employees are subject to the Hatch Act, 5 U.S.C. 7323(a) and 7324(a), which generally prohibits Department employees from engaging in partisan political activity while on duty, in a federal facility or using federal property. Political activity is activity directed toward the success or failure of a political party, candidate for partisan political office, or partisan political group. The statute carries serious penalties including REMOVAL from federal employment.

The Hatch Act applies to all federal employees; however, application of its restrictions is broken down into two groups, based on position.

“Less restricted” employees…are able to participate actively in political management or partisan political campaigns, while off-duty, outside a federal facility and not using federal property.

“Further restricted" employees are held to stricter rules that preclude active participation in political management or partisan political campaigns, even off-duty… Further restricted employees may
not campaign for or against candidates or otherwise engage in political activity in concert with a political party, a candidate for partisan political office, or a partisan political group.

…the Attorney General has previously determined that, as a matter of Department policy, all political appointees will be subject to the rules that govern “further restricted” employees under the Hatch Act to ensure there is not an appearance that politics plays any part in the Department’s day to day operations.

I tried to watch him with GeoS. Man, the hate is strong with this one. The anal-like pursed lips, the venom dripping in his voice. There is a meanness about him. It’s evident even on mute. His eyes spew the same venom his mouth does.

He is the epitome of hateful, as in full of hate.

Of all the @#$ around dt, the truly scary ones are the haters.

But what really burns me is that they blasphemously say, and believe, they are following Jesus’ teachings.

What miserable lifes they must lead. Hate is a very heavy load to carry.

I learned the hard way that it is nearly impossible to be happy if you’re filled with hate. It gets in the way and won’t let you think straight.

Have you noticed that none of dt’s folks ever really laugh? Smirks, guilty grins, plastic smiles, but no hardy belly laughs.

Sigh. That’s why I do so love those photos of BO and/or HC having a good laugh, and not at someone else’s pain.

Democrats passed Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. All seem to be working just great and have kept many seniors from an unpleasant death due to homelessness and starvation. It also enables their children to concentrate on raising their children instead of having to also support their parents. Republicans have fought against all of those successful programs since their inception and are still fighting them.

Actually the border fence passed by Bush and strengthened by Obama worked. The only reason we are having this conversation is Alex Jones and the rest of the wacko right talk show hosts didn’t want to believe reality because they were making money scaring old people with images of brown people with cantaloupe size calves. Trump bought into their con. We don’t need to pay 80 billion for their meme.

Man, they sure had to go deep into the swamp to come up with this guy.

If Sessions’ claim is that the hundreds of miles of fence added since 2007 “did not work,” shouldn’t he be pushed to prove that claim? In 2005, apprehensions at the border numbered somewhere north of 1.2 million persons for the year. By 2014, that number was down to 475,000. When the economy was really in the tank, in 2011, it was under 300,000. While larger economic forces are behind these numbers, the stupid fence pushed by the 2006 law played a part. How much of a part is just not known. However, it’s important to note that every single vote against the fence was from Democrats, who largely cited the fact that it was unfunded and proponents could not precisely estimate how much it would cost. In the end, the “fence” and everything related to it came in almost twice as expensive as initial estimates and long-term maintenance is now estimated to cost $1 billion over 20 years as opposed to the $50 million estimated by its proponents. While I’m opposed to building a wall because it’s stupid and ineffective in the 21st century (not to mention rooted in some hard-core racism), pointing out that it’s likely to a) Nof F***ing Work, and, b) cost 2-3 times as much (at least) as Trump’s Administration promises, are good enough reasons to oppose it.

Isn’t it a bit…unseemly for a sitting attorney general to be so nakedly partisan? Is he not supposed to rise above partisan politics? I guess it’s just one of those IOKIYAR things.

That’s why Trump drained the swamp: to find Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III…

Actually, it’s against the law, the Hatch Act.

Has anyone told this yokel that he’s the fucking Attorney General of the entire United States and its time to quit being the partisan hack he always was before he got into his new job? This man doesn’t have the temperament to be Attorney General or the fucking judgement, which most people would say is a prerequisite for that position. His partisanship alone is reason to remove him from his job. He has the power now to do irreparable harm to how justice is carried out in this country and partisanship has absolutely no place in that equation.

So Shut The Fuck UP Granny. (Don’t know who posted this the other day but its so spot on).
