On the subject of Trump’s bigotry the CEO of Merck has resigned from one of Trump’s outreach councils on “diversity” and “personal conscience” considerations. Merck is a consumer business, and the company has retention concerns with highly skilled employees.
It is becoming good corporate PR to dump Trump.

Also, I’m pretty sure the media has been fairly unanimous in criticizing the Alt-Right/White Nationalist/White Supremacist/Neo Nazi/Nazi elements that perpetrated the violence.

I don’t know if anyone else is noticing this, but Trump’s goons have come to expect him to continue his obfuscating and “all sides” deceptions, they really demand that he give them support… if he ever actually condemns them, even a little, they’ll go rogue on him and he knows it, Trump’s got his hand in a nasty monkeytrap, he just can’t let go of the alt-real peanut in that coconut, even as the tiger of Truth closes in…
Trump’s stuck in his own hate circle, he may become its most notable victim. Both Charlottesville and Russia will haunt him until he resigns, and probably for the rest of his life. He’s ruined his family’s future with his addiction to celebrity.
I see the confusion – it’s a generational thing. Sessions doesn’t know the difference between a call out and a shout out.

They were and still are BUT it should have been trump’s goddam job in the first instance. He had the opportunity and deliberately flubbed it. It wasn’t off the cuff. He read that statement. It wasn’t a joke or sarcasm, it was obvious support for the bigots. Whatever he says now is too little too late. He even has ignored that lady who was killed by the car driver and all the people that numbskull injured. He did send support to the police killed in the copter crash but not anyone else. Trump blew it bigly.
