In Sessions mind the only states that matter are those of the Confederacy.

I do declay, Mr. Sessions, ah’m “amazed” that a Confederate nostalgist from the most racist state in the union is in charge of enforcing our civil rights laws. So ah guess we all are amazed about something!

I was “amazed” that someone who committed perjury - twice - in front of Congress was allowed to become the nation’s top law enforcement officer.

Hey you little FKwad…Hawaii is a STATE and subject to the same laws and regulations as that corrupt banana republic you call Alabama. KISS ASS Jeffy.

Maybe Sessions is getting at something fundamental for people like him. That island in the Pacific is the same island where Barack Obama was born. They kept insisting he wasn’t a natural born citizen. Maybe conservatives like Jefferson Beauregard Sessions just don’t really believe Hawaii is part of the United States.

Because he still a congressperson where making halfwit jokes and unseriousness is ok.

"I really am amazed that a judge sitting on an island in the Pacific can issue an order that stops the President of the United States from what appears to be clearly his statutory and Constitutional power.”

So they did not cover the federal court system at your law school, Beauregard?

So our attorney general is “amazed”, and not in a good way, by the effect of the separation of powers in the US Constitution? That’s … reassuring. Maybe he could take a class or something?

Now that you’ve besmirched the honour of Alabama, Sessions will challenge you to a duel. Why, he might even scratch you with his little lady’s derringer he can just barely heft in his tiny, elven hands.

Just thought the quote was worth repeating:

Roberts stated: “I know his grandmother lives in Hawaii and I know Hawaii is a state, but it has the look of him going off to some sort of foreign, exotic place.” Roberts continued: “He should be in Myrtle Beach, and, you know, if he’s going to take a vacation at this time.”

WTF is with these people.

When Alabama elects their legislators they aren’t sending their tallest, smartest, well integrated folks…I assume some of them have an IQ higher 70 but I can’t verify that.

There were actually 13 stars on their flag, 11 for the secessionist states plus one each for the divided states of Kentucky and Missouri.
