I posted this thread last night. ICYMI. (This guy is sharp. I’d highly recommend to follow him).
Thanks for the tip. I came across a tweet of his before, but I’ll have to check his postings more often.
Not to mention the Afghani “Bacha Boys.”
A) there were three no votes against G-C
B) @geofu54, u were right n i was wrong, seeing how Trump is the second guy to suggest that Murkowski would be receptive to block grants (Graham was the first), she might need to say how she would roll.
C) @littlegirlblue Sullivan would make ten senators (Governor Walker was against G-C)
He definitely definitely would have had the votes if the Senate had gotten rid of the filibuster as Mr. Trump has urged. It’s so unfair!
Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS) corrected President Donald Trump on Wednesday after the President continued to incorrectly claim that a hospitalized senator had prevented a vote on the most recent failed Obamacare repeal bill.
…
In fact, Cochran’s been correcting the President all day. His office sent out a similar statement Wednesday morning, seemingly responding to another incorrect tweet from the President.
Hair GropenFüror signalling something to Thune…? <//snark>
There is litterally NOTHING that happens in politics that cannot be hilariously skewered with a Monty Python video clip.
Hence the morning rant about how Facebook has always been anti-Trump.
Do you think Trump has been lying so much in his life and has always been enabled when he does that he views it as disloyalty when people correct him?
Trump doesn’t “do” or worry about facts, they get in the way of his self-aggrandizement.
Can you register over the phone in New York? That could explain the gender misidentification.
Disagree. Trump is a horrible liar and bullshitter but given his other recent history this looks like early onset Alzheimer’s. The patient is mildly confused.
And next on the national agenda, tax reform brought to you by a guy who clearly can’t count.
Thad Cochran is a lying (tag with disgusting epithet) and should be fired by the Senate. Preshitident Anusmouth-Putindickholster never speaks without getting and checking all of the facts.
We’ll never really know who loved America but hated Americans enough to imperil their health.
He repeated the “we have the votes on Graham-Cassidy except for an unnamed senator who can’t vote due to health problems” lie again in his tax “reform” speech. Raising the question, Why can’t Donny do basic math at a first grade level?
Donny, try to pay attention. There are 100 United States Senators. Passing a bill in the Senate requires at least a “simple majority” votes in favor of the bill, meaning at least 51 Senators, or 50 Senators plus a tie-breaking vote from the vice-president. So far, all 48 Democratic Senators and 3 of the 52 Republican Senators say they will vote no on the bill, which adds up to 51 “no” votes. So, let’s do the math.
52 - 3 = 49
48 + 3 = 51
51 > 49
(Donny, “>” is the symbol for “greater than.” You know what “greater than” means, don’t you?).
Maybe this will help:
An understandable mistake. The old coot looks like he’s on his last legs. All of those Deep South corrupt Republicans do.
