Such a warm and fuzzy and American sounding resolution.
Gosh, I just don’t understand why I still feel all cold inside as I watch our frothing president continuouly attack the same press those brave Republicans joined the Democrats to say they think is important.
Golly, surely after this they’ll be even braver and start to push back on our president as he continuously violates our country while simultaneously delivering to them everything they’ve dreamed of wanting. Right?

Yeah , echoing the sentiment of others here: That’s a nice resolution and all, and I’m glad they did it it, but seriously…it’s just window dressing.
I guess we really have to start worrying when they stop even mouthing the right thing to say. It’s just that we don’t seem so far away from that, either. 
But the House “Freedom Caucus” most certainly is.

Since most of the Rs in the Senate are now calling stuff fake news, this resolution rings really hollow
