Discussion for article #227721
cuz we think it’s a good idea to anger the largest voting block even more just before elections. isn’t it nice of the gop to aide in our victory in november
But hey, Republicans claim to support women’s rights.
More of the GOP/Tea Potty folks working on their outreach to women voters??
ohhh what a surprise. Not
So I will state what the pic represents.
1 face says, I can’t believe this ass made me come stand here.
1 face says, this cannot be good for us with the election coming.
1 face says, He is my hero because he likes to use me.
The other guy who looks like he has been sucking on a pumpkin his whole life says, I won, I did it, I beat obama again.
Not hard to figure out huh??
creeps, all of them
Like is this a surprise. Republicans hate women. Hate gays. Hate Latinos. Hate Blacks. They hate pretty much anyone not rich and white. This is the status quo for them.
Yet the very people they profess to hate will go ahead and vote for the GOP. It’s something I have trouble understanding. How else can republican get elected but that he/she get the votes of the very categories they abuse?
The House has 5 and a half working days in which to pass a continuing resolution to fund the government and keep it open.
If politicians have one thing in their favor, it is knowing half are with them and half are against them minus that small sliver of swing voters and independents, who they will sell their soul for.
There just wasn’t enough war funding included. It’s the Republican war on women, or something like that.
Hey, they’re okay with the women getting their slut pills over the counter! WHAT ELSE DO YOU THEY WANT?
“There is no war on women. If a woman is getting paid less, that’s her problem.” – all of the GOP
Of course they did. Bless their little pea-pickin’ hearts.
…which Republicans may have done to eat up Senate time that Democrats want to use for other election-year votes.
So, Not only did they block the bill, they did it in such a way that prevented debate on other measures…Measures presumably that the GOP felt would be so damaging to them in November that they would rather take the hit on this one.
I am with you…simply do not get it…media says daily looks as if the GOP will take the Senate… The KY race should not even be close if people got below the surface…why would a woman in KY vote for Mitch…just stunning.
But the old baggers have no war on women…Right!
call them out 1.866.220.0044
I see it as very effective messaging, even downright propaganda. Most people I know who still vote straight ticket ® have all the circumstances of someone who would be far better off if they voted (D), or for more moderate candidates. But they don’t because they believe fully in everything they see on Fox News or read in political chain emails. It’s all a mish-mash with these people: “Obama Bill Ayers Benghazi death panel Kenyan Muslim Socialist muh taxes 'takin yer guns!”…“there’s even a War on Christmas™!”…and that’s the extent of what they understand. The GOP can’t win on ideology anymore, so they bullshit people to the polls by scaring them half to death.
Even Maine’s Republican Senator Suzie Collins has declared war on herself and opposes the equal pay act.
The Republicans believe in UNEQUAL pay and runaway wealth concentration of the 1%! That is the result of their upside down economic policies.
I can’t understand how so many middle class and working class people can vote for any Republicans. The white people living in rural America and the trailer parks keep voting against their own best interest…and to enrich the 1% and the corporations!
“But we haven’t got anything against da wimmins. No way. We just think everybody should be paid nothing and treated like dirt.”
It is becoming obvious that the GOP plays to it’s base although such actions could hurt it in the elections. I probably should say will hurt it at the ballot box, and they keep doing it and expect a different result, isn’t that a definition of stupid: “to keep doing something and expecting a different result?”
